A compilation of 85% Pinot Gris and 15% Viognier. We have cool barrique fermented and less stirred this wine, followed by a short period aging in seasoned French oak. On the nose the perfume of Viognier lifts the subtle spice character of Pinot Gris. The palate shows complexity derived from barrel aging and lees stirring.

Oratia pioneer, Betty Davis has lived at Tara all her life. The estate was formely known as Tara Orchard now renamed Tara Vineyard. We acknowledge her contributions with our first vintage which bears her name.
