 This paddock is located in our Valley East Estate at Spring Creek in Marlborough. Over three generations of farming it became known that his small paddock should always be reserved for the highest value crops, for the ewes to lamb and cows to calve, so Pinot noir was the natural choice when it came time to plant vines.
This is a warm paddock with light drained soils and good fertility. The vines are dry farmed and we use riparia goire rootstock for early maturity. |
